How are dilators used?

It is recommended to wash the dilators with warm water and neutral soap before first use.

Once used, clean them in the same way and store them completely dry in the bag. The recommended position for inserting dilators is lying on your back with your legs bent and slightly apart. However, it can also be used standing, with one leg raised and leaning on a chair. To facilitate insertion, it is recommended to apply a lubricant, or even water, to moisten the tip of the dilator or the vaginal entrance. Breathe easily and gently insert the smaller dilator into the vagina for 8-10 minutes, then move it in and out without completely removing it from the vagina. Repeat these movements about 20 times.

You may experience discomfort when using dilators the first few times; this is completely normal.
